Everything we do is rooted in real experience and a clear understanding of what is needed to make mobility safe, accessible, and independent. Our work began back in the 2017–2018 academic year, during our collaboration with Imperial College London, developed under my former company Eyes for Success. That early project allowed us to explore concepts, test ideas, and gain vital insight into how we could make a meaningful difference.
Our very first prototype was created by adapting an existing, standard pushchair — fitting all our adaptations externally. This approach let us experiment, learn quickly, and prove the core concept without building from scratch. It was purely an experimental model, designed only for testing and research purposes, and was never manufactured for sale.
Today, operating as Quacy’s Smart Mobility, we remain fully in the research and development stage. We are taking all the knowledge and insight gained from our early work to explore how we move forward, what our next steps will be, and how we can best deliver solutions that meet real user needs. At this stage, we are continuing to refine our approach and develop our work further, with a focus on quality, safety, and true accessibility.
Our commitment remains the same: to create mobility solutions that support independence, confidence, and freedom of movement — built on what we have learned, and designed with purpose.
